Our bistro with fish sales has been a staple of the Viktualienmarkt since 1984 – a true Munich original and the go-to spot for fresh fish and seafood! Who are we? We are the Mergen family: mother Gabi, father Pierre, and son Marcel. For over 20 years, the bistro has been in our hands, and together we work to bring joy to our guests every day with delicious dishes and high-quality products.

After a recent renovation, our bistro shines with a new glow, without losing its cozy charm.

Our classics, like the Bouillabaisse with Rouille or the Spaghetti with seafood à la Pierre Mergen, have been crowd favorites for years and continue to delight all generations. To keep things fresh, we also offer daily changing specials, prepared right in our open kitchen. In the summer, our sunny terrace invites you to enjoy your meal outdoors with a view of the Viktualienmarkt – ideally with a good glass of wine. At our place, top quality meets fair prices – and it’s been that way for over 40 years!
